Roaming around in Kuala Lumpur

We spent the next 2 days in Kuala Lumpur, checking out the city by train and occasionally, monorail. Kuala Lumpur has an efficient urban train network and covers the city well.

We are ready to go..

Petronas twin towers (one can go to the top of this private tower too, but they allow only a fixed number per day, so come early or buy it the previous day)...

On the way to Aquaria (a nice aquarium just behind the twin towers)..

At the aquarium...

Back to prawn business..

At Petaling street (Kuala Lumpur's China Town...avoid this tourist trap..we erred by going here..all cheap stuff sold as branded ones at exorbitant prices)...

Masjid Jamek (just behind the train station with same name)...

KL Bird Park (this one was a good one, close to the Merdeka square)..

National Mosque at Merdeka...

At Merdeka...
